Hello sweet readers of Thrifting Through Life!
My name is Lauren, and I'm the bashful gal and blogger behind Someone Like You.
Laura was kind enough to ask me to guest post for her while she's away in the Dominican Republic; that lucky duck! I am so honored to be guest blogging for her while she's away and here's to hoping she has an incredible trip ❤
Getting the chance to travel outside of your country is the most amazing, enlightening experience. I've only been out of the United States one time, and it was seven years ago to adopt my little sister Gracie from China. Having the chance to go to China was like experiencing a world I never knew existed. I learned so much about another culture, and realized that the world is much, much greater than the small town I live in! There are so many people out there who are in need, and going to China really opened my eyes to seeing that.
I'm really hoping to be able to study abroad when I'm in college so that I may be able to experience even more of what this incredible world offers. I don't even know where I would choose first, because every place sounds incredible!
Have you all traveled outside of your home country? If so, how did it open your eyes...?
With much love, Lauren,
