¡Hola
todos! ¡Feliz
Cinco de Mayo!
Spanish is a pretty important part of my life. Even though I can sometimes get frustrated, I love the language. I love different Hispanic cultures and I am so lucky that I have the chance to travel to different places.
Even though I haven't made it to Mexico yet, (where Cinco de Mayo is mostly celebrated) I wore my Guatemalan huipil that I got last summer, for a little festivity!
Huipil - Guatemala
Cami - Wal*Mart
Jeans - Kohl's
Shoes - Payless
Headband and Ring - Guatemala
Belt - From a relative's grandmother's estate
Also, I recently did some photo edits of my favorite pictures from the countries that I have traveled to.
This is in a graveyard in Xela, Guatemala. I love how different the graveyards are from here; they are really bright and lovely places, compared to the gloomy and gray ones we have here.
This lovely photo is from Costa Rica, the trip I went on in high school. This was right down from one of our hotels and it just makes miss the Pura Vida lifestyle.
Stayed tuned, as I leave for the Dominican Republic for a mission trip, next Sunday!
¡Tienen una día buena!
xoxo,
Laura
