Let's Remix this Business #3

Hey everyone!

I hope that you are having a great week so far!

Mine has been pretty good; just trying to stay cool because it is HOT. Oh my goodness, I went to the grocery store the other day and I all I wanted to do was climb in the milk cooler.

So, I have been reading a lot - I finished 'The Fault in Our Stars' (so. good.) and just started 'Between the Lines', which I'm really excited to read. Also, I have been watching 'Catfish' which I think the sociologist in me finds very interesting. Have you guys seen the show or the documentary that the TV show is based on?

Anyway, I haven't done a remix post in awhile, so I thought I would show you the different ways that I have worn one of my favorite thrift finds. I found this vintage top last summer during half-off day at one of my favorite thrift stores; I think it was about $2. Definitely one of my favorite pieces - it is so versatile!

Well, I better jet off - I'm heading to the food pantry that I've been volunteering at as part of my internship. It has been fantastic!

P.S. I'm heading to this in August. If you are around the area, check it out - it should be a good time!

xoxo,

Laura

That top has really served you well! You're inspiring me to do something similar actually...it'd be nice to see how I've been able to use different items in my closet :)

There's nothing better than a really versatile blouse. I swear the options are endless when you find that one piece you can work around with. :-)

Love how many times you've already remixed this blouse on your blog! So many good ideas for making the most of this one piece!

I LOVE the show Catfish too! Did you see yesterday's episode? It was so crazy that the couple on the episode had been dating for 8 years online and had never seen each other on video chat. That's dedication right there!

This is the kind of personal style bloggers should all follow. :) Most bloggers tend to just wear new clothes, and their readers would be enticed to buy them instead of remixing old ones.

You look absolutely lovely, by the way!

I'm slightly addicted to watching Catfish right now. It's so intriguing to me - have you seen the movie documentary yet?

Love ALL your remixes lady. I always love when a piece is so versatile & looks so different with every outfit.

It's funny cause I have no idea what you're talking about regarding watching "catfish" so now I'm really curious ^^
