Say Goodbye to My Heart Tonight

Hey hey all! Hope that everyone had a great Mother's Day weekend - especially all you moms out there. You do amazing things. I'm so glad that I could spend the day with my mom - she's kind of the best.

Welcome to our last roomie photo shoot of junior year...

that's right y'all; WE ARE SENIORS!

so. crazy.

So, this post is a little animal packed. I got this shirt a weekend or two ago when I was thrifting with my sister. I put it on and she just laughed and rolled her eyes at me. I love it though - I was explaining it to a friend and I just said 'it is like Lisa Frank just threw up all over a tank top.' Accurate, don't you think?

Top: Handmade: Thrifted
Skirt: Vintage: Thrifted
White bracelet: Thrifted
Silver bracelet: Rummage sale
Shoes: Payless (old - I got them in high school).

Now, Amy's cardi is also pretty awesome. She was working on a squirrel project this semester - she's studying wildlife conservation and one of her friends sent her this sweater in time for finals. How adorable is that?

She's a flying squirrel...teehee.

Cardigan: Gift
Tank: Old Navy
Jeans: Levi's
Shoes: Bass

So anyways, finals are over - thank goodness. Hello, summer!

I'm home now and the first day of vacation was great: slept in, did a little thrifting, and watching a lot of Long Island Medium - don't judge, it is addicting!

Even though I'm glad that summer is here and I'm ready for break, I'm still going to miss school - college is such an amazing experience where you have so many of your peers in a small place. Therefore, it is very different when everyone spreads out over the summer.

But never fear, Amy and I are just 5 minutes away this summer, so you'll still see her (and her awesome sweaters) around.

Have a great start to your week everyone!

P.S. Sometimes we like to pretend we are models.

Hahaha, like Lisa Frank threw up all over a shirt... oh my gosh, that is seriously the most accurate description, though. But I love that shirt nonetheless. It's psychedelic!

I WAS THINKING OF LISA FRANK BEFORE I READ THAT. I can see why you had to get that top, regardless of who rolled their eyes at it. Hehe.

I love how most of your outfit is thrifted. My university also has a lot of squirrels and it would be hilarious to wear that cardigan around.

Okay, this outfit is a new favorite from you. I would have never seen the potential in this top like you did, but it looks SO great on you! Especially with this blue pleated skirt. So cute. And Amy's cardigan is just downright adorable.

Oh, what an accurate description of your top! I absolutely can see Lisa Frank in the colors. You styled it so perfectly though, it really looks gorgeous and not 12 year old girl at all, kudos! haha. Aw, congrats to you two being seniors-what an exciting feeling! It will go by so quickly, but I can see that you two will enjoy it so much, you're both so fun. squirrel cardigan is probably the best thing ever-how silly and amazing!

Cute ladies! The last photo with you two pretending to be models is awesome :)
I love the Lisa Frank reference it was hilarious... I truly believe that in the end you have to wear what pleases you and no one else! (It doesn't mean that you're challenging the people around you. You're just staying true to yourself and feeling pretty)
That squirrel cardigan is beautiful as well! so colorful!!!
Happy mother's day to your mom, I'm sure she's adorable since she raised such a friendly girl :)
Enjoy vacations!!!
