Hey everyone! Hope that you are having a wonderful night. It is almost the weekend - hooray!

My weekend plans consists of watching 'Pretty in Pink' with my housemates, hitting up the best (and really, only) pub in town, reading some fun books, and helping out with my church's Heritage Fair. And I might just try to get  some homework and cleaning done in there, too. 

This past week has been pretty chill- I did well on those tests that I mentioned last time; thanks for all of you that wished me well! Senioritis has set in hardcore. I had friends describe it so accurately the other day: 

"High school senioritis should have prevented college senioritis, like a vaccine."

"No, high school senioritis is like chicken pox and college senioritis is like shingles.

Sooooo true. 

In other news, I was going to write a super sad and depressing paragraph about how senior year is so weird, where some days you are so happy and loving life and other days you feel like you just want to eat a lot of Swiss Rolls and watch 5 hours of "Orange is the New Black." 

But no, I watched this instead.

And boy, did that just make my night 10X better.

Be True to Your School

Hey everyone! I hope that you are having a wonderful Tuesday! 

I actually had to double check to make sure that it was actually Tuesday - I'm days are all messed up because yesterday was Mountain Day - one of my school's little traditions. Basically, we got off classes to have fun at the lake! 

Anyway, you can see how behind I am on pictures because these were actually from the first day of classes about 3 weeks ago. Of course, senior year is already in full swing: I have two exams in the next couple of days. Also, I just yelled for Amy to see if she was in her room and it turns out she went to the library to study too. We are just studying machines! 

Well, I best be getting back to studying. Maybe one of these days I'll get around to writing a post that is more than two paragraphs long and not about studying. If only...

Life Lately: On The Move

Things have been super crazy around here! I just feel like I have been on the move nonstop. But, when I get a moment to myself I realize that my life is a really amazing, blessed, and joyful blur.

The Dog Days are Over

Hey hey there all, 

Hope that you have had a fabulous week so far! 

Mine has been pretty chill, still trying to get into the swing of things between school, work, friends, and church. I'm liking my classes so far, my favorite being Human Sexuality. 

Anyway, these are the last pictures that I have from summer, so I guess it officially means that fall is here! Although, I still didn't finish Harry Potter 7 - I re-read the series every summer, so there is still a little summer spirit left in me! 

Welp, I'm off to watch Pitch Perfect (yes- again) with my housemates. I keep finding people who have never seen it! And if you live with me that simply is not an option. "I'm going to kill him! I'm going to finish him like a cheesecake!"

In a World Made of Steel

Hey there everyone! 

It is Friday! Hallelujah. I'm sure that most people have a long weekend - I'm only half fortunate in that department. I have class, but I don't have to work on Monday. Oh, well! Never look a gift horse in the mouth, right?

Anyway, here is my "official" outfit post from the Blog Days of Summer meetup. Can I just gush again what an amazing time that it was? Seriously, all the girls were so wonderful, with Hannah letting me ride with her and Katie letting me crash with her! 

Seriously, Katie is such a doll! She's the one who snapped these shots for me. Didn't she do such a good job? We clicked right away and had such a fun time talking about the different blogs that we read. She even encouraged me to make a senior splurge, which I'm so grateful that she did! I'll have to show off what I got soon. 

Anyway, this is going to be short and sweet, because my housemates and I are off to watch Selena! So. Good.

A Glimpse of Pittsburgh

Hope that everyone had a fantastic weekend! 

Mine was pretty chill, but I would like to show you what I did last weekend...

I went to Pittsburgh! 

That's right home of Carnegie, steel, and Flashdance!

I went to my very first blogger meet-up, the Blog Days of Summer. And it was a blast - despite getting lost for 2 hours with Katie, courtesy of Siri. (Hint: NEVER use Siri as a GPS. ever.) 

The lovely ladies that were there included Katie (The Wildwood Flower), Katherine (Of Corgis and Cocktails), Sara (Swing the Day Away), Hannah (SheddingGlitter), and Julie (Orchid Grey) also met up with us for supper on Saturday and brunch on Sunday.

Well, I'm off to battle pre-calculus - when I haven't taken a math class in 4 years. Bad life choice.
