Anything Could Happen

Oh hey there!

How is everyone? At the risk of sounding like a broken record, it has been forever since my last blog post. It is just that time of the year, I guess.

I would like to thank everyone for the wonderful birthday wishes on my last post. I certainly had a memorable time with my friends! Sadly, no outfit pictures happened because of rain and tests - seems like the story of my life lately.

Anyway, these pictures are from awhile ago when we had a gorgeous weekend. We were shooting with a friend and she was kind enough to take some roomie pictures! Amy and I rarely get pictures together, because we are always shooting each other, so that was a great treat!

Things around here have just been hectic - lots of papers, work, and trying to spend time with friends before everyone goes off on their summer adventures.  This past weekend, I got to head up to Penn State to see Brand New and MGMT, which was crazy but a lot of fun! On Saturday, I somehow managed to roll out of bed early to go to our town's rummage sale extravaganza with my friend Silvia. We found a lot of really awesome deals!

I seriously can't believe that this semester is almost over and that summer vacation is almost here! Time has certainly flown by.

I have to say, that I can't wait for my summer plans to start, to move back into my lovely house , and focus more on blogging. Summer always is better for me to get motivated and set goals than New Year's is, so some of my summer goal are to see lots of amazing things, meet or reconnect with amazing people, and make sure to document it all - I think that my 21st birthday present to myself should help. :)

I just get this  feeling that this summer is going to be awesome.

Hey, anything could happen right?

Train Stations and Fun Celebrations

Hey hey all!
This post is going to be quite short and sweet, beeecccaaauuussee I have some special plans tonight.

At midnight on April 12, 2013, I will be turning 21!

I can't even believe it - it seems like just yesterday I was turning 18. These "big" birthdays only happen less often here on out, so I'm glad that I can celebrate with my friends tonight!

Plus, my bestie is coming down too! I can't even wait!

Enjoy these pictures, Amy and I took down at the old train station the other day and hopefully, I'll be back tomorrow with a birthday outfit!

There's More to Living Than Being Alive

Happy Monday everyone!

Hope that you had a wonderful and fabulous weekend!

I was just super pleased that the weather got oh so very lovely! Spring is finally here - thank goodness! It is such a relief to not have to wear a winter coat anymore.

I'm very surprised that I haven't featured this outfit on the blog before, because this is one of my "go-to" outfits for when I don't know what to wear. Super comfy, cute, and easy.

This hat is one of my favorite pieces. This is one of the few things that I took from my grandmother's Goodwill bags before she donated them and probably the piece I wear the most (except for maybe this shirt.)

We believe that this hat may have been made by my great Aunt Ella, who was a super cool lady! I learned through the research that I'm doing on my family for my history class that she mostly traveled throughout her life and didn't get married until she was in her 60's. My mom always says that I get my love my for travel partially from her.

Also, I have been on a lipstick kick lately; red is such a surprising color for a small college campus, so I really love rocking it some days - especially on days when I have a test and need that confidence boost!

Other than that life is pretty good and tad crazy just with the amount of work that comes with the end of the semester.

And it is so hard to stay focused when you know what it is sunny and 70 degrees out, but I guess I just have to push through. ;)

Easter Celebrations

Hey hey all! Hope that everyone had a wonderful weekend, and if you celebrate, a lovely Easter!

I wasn't really expecting to get any pictures of my Easter dress because of my lack of camera, but my cousin was nice enough to take pictures with her iPhone. They got pretty good, despite the fact that it was pouring while we were taking them!

Do expect to see this dress again, because I really love it. I got it when I was traveling in New York over break. It has this really boss collar that you can't see in any of the pictures because of my hair - curse you thick locks. So, stay tuned for the a remixed version of this outfit.

My Easter break was busy and short, but good. It was nice to see family and spend time at home, even though this Easter was quite different than last. However, we got to spend time together and eat lots of yummy food - I ate more peanut butter balls than I would care to admit!

Oh! Also, thank you all for your kind words on my last post, they really meant a lot! You guys are seriously, the best!

Sweater: Old Navy: Thrifted
Bag: Vintage: Gift
Belt: Vintage: From a family member's grandma
Headband: Gift

And for you viewing pleasure, me attempting to hop like the Easter bunny. :)
